On the 25th of November, members of Cross River Network to Curb Sexual Abuse on Women and Girls (NETCUSA) in collaboration with the University of Calabar Association for AIDS and Reproductive Health Programes (UCAARHP) organized a campus rally to create awareness for the upcoming Public Education Forum to mark the 16 days of activism, which will hold on the Wednesday 27th November 2019 at Chinua Achebe Theater in the University of Calabar.

The theme of the forum is: Generation Equality: Stands Against Rape. The event will feature dance and drama performance, Panel discussion, sharing of sanitary pad, etc. Also in attendance will be the Vice Chancellors, Provost, Deans of faculties and Presidents of Student Union Governments from the University of Calabar (UNICAL) and Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) and College of Health Technology, Security agencies, Judiciary personnel, Permanent Secretaries of Ministries, etc.
