As part of the activities to commemorate International Women’s Month 2024 at the Girls’ Power Initiative (GPI) Calabar center, the Adolescents Sexual Reproductive Health Unit of GPI set aside a day to train the girls on skill acquisition to boost their value and entrepreneurship skills.
The skills learned by the girls included making Vaseline, hair cream, bleach, and liquid soap.
This initiative aims to empower them with economic skills for self-reliance as well as to make the girls feel included in the economic improvement of their family.
GPI wishes her Girls a productive impact through these skills.
