Making menstruation a normal fact of life by 2030

Menstrual hygiene management (MHM) or menstrual health and hygiene (MHH) refers to access to menstrual hygiene products to absorb or collect the flow of blood during menstruation, privacy to change the materials, and access to facilities to dispose of used menstrual management materials.

Today, millions of women and girls around the world are stigmatised, excluded and discriminated against simply because they menstruate.

As we mark the Menstrual Hygiene Day this 28th May, we will continue to work towards;

Breaking the taboos and end the stigma surrounding menstruation.

Raising awareness about the challenges regarding access to menstrual products, education about menstruation and period-friendly sanitation facilities.

Mobilising the funding required for actions to build a world where no one is held back because they menstruate by 2030.
