As part of activities for the 16 days of Activism against Gender Based Violence, a Public Walk was held in support of the passage of Cross River State (CRS) Violence Against Persons Prohibition (VAPP) and Disability Rights bills was launched by the Wife of the Governor of Cross River State, Dr. Linda Ayade from the Millennium Park to the Watt market roundabout and back the starting point.

Also the the Speaker of the CRS House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Eteng J. Williams, MDAs and CSOs were present at the rally.

There will also be a hearing on the Violence Against Persons Prohibition (VAPP) on and Disability Rights bills on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th December 2021 respectively at the CRS House of Assembly.
