GPI Calabar is held a 4-day sensitization training on Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV), Child Early and Forced Marriage (CEFM)  and related issues for Community and Religious Leaders for selected communities in Cross River and Akwa Ibom States.

This sensitization training which is part of activities for the USAID funded SCALE PROJECT, held from Tuesday 15th to Friday 18th February 2022 aimed at increasing participants knowledge on SGBV/CEFM, harmful traditional and contemporary social practices, legal instruments protecting the rights of women and girls. and how to build community resilience towards ending SGBV/CEFM.

Copies of the Cross River State Disability Rights Law and Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Law were presented to participants.
