NETWORK TO CURB SEXUAL ABUSE OF GIRLS AND WOMEN (NETCUSA) holds her bi-monthly meeting at Girls’ Power Initiative Nigeria, Calabar centre conference hall on the 26th October, 2017.

Members in attendance were from the following Ministries, Law Enforcement agencies, Legal institution, Networks, CSOs, NGOs, school and the media: Ministry of Health Headquarters, Ministry of Sustainable Development and Social Welfare, Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Medical Women Association of Nigeria, Ministry of Women Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Secondary Education Board, Nigerian Police Force, Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Commission, Girls’ Power Initiative (GPI) Nigeria – Calabar Centre, Youth Advocacy Group (YAG), GPI Alumni Association (GAA), Development Options, Oten Ita Foundation, Prof. Charles Effiong Foundation, Onyx Foundation, Edem Children Foundation, Second Chance Initiative, Passion Universal, Basic Rights Council, Government secondary schools representatives, Radio France Int’l, Cross River Broadcasting Corporation (CRBC) Calabar, NTA Channel 9, etc.

The meeting was held to develop a Logo design for NETCUSA, organizing a Public Education Forum, advocacy/courtesy visit to policy makers and production of SBCC materials to address sexual abuse of girls and women, and other upcoming activities.
