The World NGO Day is an internationally observed day chosen to celebrate NGOs/CSOs for the community services they render.
The aim the World NGO Day celebration in Cross River State was to bring together all CSOs/NGOs in the state to Celebrate, Commemorate and Collaborate in order to appreciate the organizations and the people behind the NGOs/CSOs that have contributed to the development of Cross River State.
This year’s NGO day was hosted by the Cross River State department of CSOs/NGOs at Gomays Galaxy Plaza with planned activities such as media talk show, Lecture presentation on fund raising, Key note address by Prof. Roibito Ekanem, presentation of Awards and the signing of the Green Jobs Green Economy (GJ/GE) framework into operation in Cross River State.
It was indeed a memorable day.
