For over 25 years, the 16 Days of Activism Campaign has pursued its mission to eradicate gender-based violence in all forms and demand gender equality across the world, and over 700 organizations in 92 countries including Girls’ Power Initiative (GPI Nigeria) take part in the campaign.

We invite you to participate in the 2017 16 Days of Activism Campaign Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV). The theme of the 2017 Campaign is “Together We Can End GBV in Education!”. This year’s theme builds on the momentum and achievements during the 2016 campaign around the theme of “From Peace in the Home to Peace in the World: Make Education Safe for All!” Our goal for 2017 is to continue to build awareness of and advocate for an end to all forms of gender-based violence in education once and for all.

This 16 Days Campaign Action calls for advocacy focused on institutional, legal, and policy change, like effective laws, policies and institutions that effectively prevent and address GBV in education.

Join us in Girls’ Power Initiative (GPI) Calabar Centre and contribute to promoting women’s human rights and putting an end to gender-based violence once and for all.

Together We Can End GBV in Education! Together we will end GBV in Education!

TAKE OFF POINT FOR THIS CAMPAIGN IS AT GIRLS’ POWER INITIATIVE (GPI NIGERIA), ATIMBO ROAD ON FRIDAY 8TH DECEMBER 2017, BY 8:00AM
