Girls’ Power Initiative (GPI) Calabar continued to work in line with its vision and mission to
empower adolescent girls and other target groups in 2019. The objectives outlined in the
organization’s 2015-2019 strategic plan guided the design and implementation of project
activities. This report highlights activities implemented in 2019 from the various projects according to strategic objectives. The projects included:

 Accountability Fund supported by Embassy of the kingdom of the Netherlands
 Personal empowerment and skills building supported by Lafarge Africa PLC
 Entrepreneurial skills building and Sunset Grant supported by Empower-the Emerging
Markets Fund.
