Girls’ Power Initiative (GPI) calabar center on 19th January 2023 held a one day Meeting to Disseminate the outcome of a situation analysis on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of young women as well as a capacity assessment of health service providers in CRS. The situation analysis and capacity assessment were conducted in 2022 as part of the Welead project activities supported by HIVOS. Participants at the meeting cut across youth led/focused CSOs, Security agencies, Ministry of health, joint national association of persons with disability, CR-NEPWHAN, Traditional and religious leaders, media houses and some right holders. Activities at the meeting included a robust presentation of the findings, question and answer sessions and a call to action by participants. The event also provided an opportunity to discuss further ways of collaboration towards ensuring improved access to SRHR information and service by right holder groups.
