Girls’ Power Initiative (GPI) Calabar Centre, has concluded a three-day training for 30 Gender and SRHR Focal officers drawn from various Government Ministeries, Departments and Agencies in Cross River State. The training was held from 19th-21st September,2023 in Calabar.
The training had the following objectives:
-To improve knowledge of participants on existing SRHR focused laws and policies at State, national, regional and International levels
– To improve synergy/collaboration amongst Gender and SRHR actors in government institutions
– To strengthen participants skills for further advocacy work towards improving access to SRHR information and service for Right holders at the State level
– To Discuss and draw up concrete plans on how to support HSP in conducting outreaches on SRHR in their communities.
