Girls Power Initiative, Calabar center hosted a Bilateral Linking and Learning visit by Welead Project implementing organisations from Nigeria and Niger organised by HIVOS. The visit to Girls’ Power Initiative (GPI) Calabar office took place on Tuesday 16th July 2024.
The essence of the visit was to share experiences around the Welead project implementation, what was done and how it was done, success stories, challenges encountered and ways challenges were mitigated.
Highlights of the Event: included a round table discussion, cultural dance entertainment, visit to the old residency museum etc.
The event had in attendance representatives of WeLead partners from Kenya, Niger, Nigeria, HIVOS and beneficiaries of the Welead project in Cross River State.
